If you are looking to have gutters installed on to your home, then you probably already know that there are two main options to choose from: seamed and seamless gutters. Although, seamed gutters are typically less expensive, we highly recommend seamless gutters for the following reasons:
- Less Leaking – Anywhere that there is a joint in your gutter, it will be prone to leaking. Joints can separate over time and become a weak point in the gutter system. Seamless gutters do not have these joints and are less likely to have issues with leaking.
- Custom Fit – Seamless gutters are designed for your specific home. They will be custom tailored for your home and therefore the fit will be exact. This perfect fit will help them to function properly and last for a long time.
- Few clogs – Joints in sectional gutters are a problematic area for clogs and backups. When clogs occur, the gutters stop functioning like they should. Seamless gutters don’t have joints and will not be as prone to clogs like seamed gutters.
- Low Maintenance – Seamless gutters require very little maintenance. Because there are fewer problem areas for clogs, there really isn’t much maintenance. If by chance a clog does occur, then the blockage will need to be removed.
Seamless gutters are a superior product that will offer you years of use. They will work hard to keep you and the perimeter of your home dry. If you are interested in seamless drains, then give us a call at 31-W Insulation. We have years of experience installing and maintaining seamless gutters.
